Highlights
Amboseli are the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains.
Amboseli National Park lies with the shadows of the mighty Kilimanjaro Africa’s highest Mountain. Game is seen en-route to the Park, which crosses plains where the Masai Tribesmen herd their cattle.
Lunch will be served at a lodge within the Park, afternoon game viewing drive, where lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebra, Buffalo and Wildebeest may be spotted. Hippos can also be seen bathing in the swamps, which gets its water from the underground springs of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to Nairobi in the evening.

530 Hours: Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park by road
0930 Hours: Arrive at the Amboseli National park and proceed for a game drive
1230 Hours: Enjoy hot lunch at Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge / Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge/AA Lodge or Kibo Tented camp
1430 Hours: Afternoon game drive/Visit a Masai Village (Optional) en route to Nairobi
1900 Hours: Arrive in Nairobi and be dropped off at your Hotel residence
Notes
- You can also fly from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park at 0730 Hours and return by road to Nairobi.
- Overnight Safari to Amboseli National Park is also available.
