Day 1 : Nairobi – Drive To Masai Mara Game Reserve


Breakfast will be served at the lodge followed by check out. Depart by road to the bottom of the Great Rift Valley and the iconic savannah wilderness alive with Masai people and wildlife living together to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Arrive at the camp in time for lunch the followed by some leisure hours for a siesta/ swim. Later depart for an afternoon Game drive. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is characterized with vast acacia-dotted plains cut by ox-bow lakes, spectacular escarpments where move ‘Out of Africa’ was acted.

The animals of the Masai Mara are the star of the show, providing drama and intrigue against a backdrop of spectacular scenery. You might notice a Masai Moran standing on one foot herding hundreds of cow or shepherding goats and sheep holding a single stick or a spear, that’s their way of living.

Day 2 : Explore The Masai Mara Game Reserve


This full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve will be spared for the search of the big cats of the Masai Mara and the spectacular view of the famous migration.

During game viewing remember to keep a sharp lookout, you may witness a dramatic hunt; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators.

The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration, the Masai Mara wildebeest migration is no considered to be one of the wonders of the world, especially as they cross the Mara River.

The reserve is also regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. Game viewing is never dull in the Mara and patience is rewarded with unique sightings, such as a pride of lion stalking prey. All meals will be served at the camp.

Day 3 : Masai Mara Game – Drive To Lake Nakuru National Park


Breakfast will be served at your lodge then board the safari vehicle and drive overland to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake famous for its flamingo population estimated to be more than a million hence it is referred to as the ‘Birds Paradise’ by bird watchers and the rhino population.

Lunch enroute arrive early afternoon at Lake Nakuru. Depart at around 16:00hrs for an afternoon game viewing and return back to the camp before sunset. In addition to the flamingoes, the lake draws more than 450 species of birds.

There are no elephants in the park but the other big five can be spotted including tree climbing lions. Large animals which strive in the dry land surrounding the lake such as Rothschild giraffe, Cape buffaloes, Waterbucks, Gazelles, Leopard and primates etc can be spotted as well at the park.

Day 4 : Lake Nakuru – Drive To Amboseli National Park


After breakfast morning game viewing drive later depart by road and return to Nairobi and proceed overland through Kamba land dotted with circular houses and few shopping centers as well as Masai land to Amboseli National Park situated at the foot of the highest mountain in Africa.

Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world. Lunch served enroute to Amboseli arriving early afternoon. Depart for an afternoon game viewing and return back to the camp before sunset.

The park has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s melting snow.

The elephant population in Amboseli is one of the few that has been able to live undisturbed and the elephant families have been studied by world renowned researcher Cynthia Moss.

Day 5 : Explore Amboseli National Park


This morning we rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons.

A visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast at an extra cost. Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another game drive. Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribesmen.

Masai warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.

Day 6 : Amboseli – Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater – Ngorongoro Crater


Early breakfast drive to Namanga boarder. Meet and assisted by Polmans representative on arrival, transfer to Arusha for lunch. Afternoon drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world.

Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Arrive at your lodge in the evening. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 7 : Ngorongoro Crater – Ngorongoro Crater


This morning we descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano. This magnificent natural amphitheatre contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa. Prides of lion, black rhino and elephant share this land with the legendary Masai tribesmen.

Because the grasses are short, game is easily spotted and can be approached quite closely. We spend a splendid morning on the floor of the crater observing wildlife in this ageless World Heritage Site.

Day 8 : Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park


The Serengeti National Park is our destination today. En route we stop at Olduvai Gorge, the “cradle of mankind,” where the Leakey family uncovered the fossil of Homo habilis, who lived 1.75 million years ago. Arriving at our lodge in time for lunch, we find ourselves deep in the heart of this famous migration corridor.

With its wide-open spaces, bright blue skies and creature-filled landscape, over the next two days we will discover why the fabled Serengeti typifies the dream of “Old Africa.”

Large prides of lions laze in the long grasses; plentiful families of elephants feed on acacia bark and trumpet to each other across the plains, while giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland and the whole range of African wildlife present themselves in awe-inspiring numbers. Afternoon game drives until sunset.

Day 9 : Serengeti National Park Full Day


We awaken to the sounds of Africa and begin our day with a Bush Walk, affording an intimate and profoundly personal bond to the world of the wild. Our expert naturalist is hard at work, pointing out each individual miracle of the land that we are now a part of. An extensive afternoon game run explores the depths of the deep Serengeti.

Everywhere there are animals, monkeys and, yes, birds…but look closely and you will thrill to the huge jungle cats—lion, leopard and cheetah—just watching the world go by. And go by it does.

Rhino, gazelle, antelope and massive elephants by the hundreds, Animals in the trees, on the wing, camouflaged in the bush, in rivers and in streams, the adventure of a lifetime.

Day 10 : Tarangire National Park – Tarangire National Park


Today we drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for Lunch and Drive to Tarangire. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion (some tree-climbing!), leopard and hyena and a herd of 3,500 elephants.

The park is also host to a number of rare species including eland, Oryx, kudu and gerenuk. Our accommodations are at Roika lodge or Tarangire safari lodge, a tranquil oasis overlooking the rolling plains.

Day 11 : Tarangire – Arusha – Depart


Breakfast and one last look at Tarangire National Park on a morning game drive before we head to Arusha. Lunch then take your afternoon shuttle bus to Nairobi knowing that this has been a journey to remember for the rest of our lives.
