3 Days/ 2 Nights Aberdare & Sweetwaters Game Reserve Safari from Nairobi is a Vacation/ Holiday that features two game Reserves that are undoubtedly offer the most exclusive private game viewing in Kenya. Our 3 Day safari begins with a visit to the Aberdare/ Mount Kenya National Parks, both famous for high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and waterhole. Here we will enjoy the finest in high-altitude game viewing.

Animals easily observed in the park include; the Black Rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey and Sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of lions, the golden cat and the bongo- an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest.

Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, sparry hawk, goshawks, eagles, sun birds and plovers.

A visit to Sweetwaters Game Reserve – part of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve allows us to see these magnificent beasts that are given a sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns.

Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates’ face – to – face. The Ol Pajeta Conservancy is one of the only four private Game reserves in Kenya and provides visitors with a unique combination of facilities and activities.

Special activities such as escorted game walks, horse-back rides are avilable here which are not permitted in the Kenyan National parks and Reserves.

Day 1 : Nairobi – Drive To Aberdare/ Mount Kenya National Park


After breakfast drive northwards to the lush foothills of snow capped Mount Kenya – Africa’s second highest mountain, arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch, you will relax in the balconies and lounges which provides superb vantage point (Viewing Bunker) for game viewing at the water hole.

Nestled in the foothills between Aberdare and Mount Kenya National Park, the lodge is famous for its high perches and balconies, overlooking a salt lick and waterhole. Here we will enjoy the finest in high-altitude game viewing.

Overnight at Mountain Lodge or Treetops Hotel or The Ark Tree Lodge

Day 2 : Nairobi – Drive To Ol Pejata/ Sweetwaters Conservancy


Today we travel to the exotic Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve called Sweet waters Game Reserve. Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns.

Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates’ face-to-face. Our camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game.

Special activities such as escorted game walks, horse-back rides are available here which are not permitted in the Kenyan National parks and Reserves.

We enjoy an early breakfast and then we drive to Nairobi. We have lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant (at an extra cost). The rest of your afternoon is at leisure.
