3 Days/ 2 Nights Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria Safari from Nairobi departs daily and takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park. This Park is just 4 Kilometers south of Nakuru town in central Kenya and 160 Kilometers northwest of Nairobi.
Nakuru is arguably the most renowned among Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes and one of the best known African parks in the entire world, with its alkaline waters fringed at times by more than one million flamingos. Nakuru is also the big success story for rhino. There are some black rhinos here, as well as white, though it is the white that you see mostly as the black are much more reclusive.
Nakuru is also justifiably famous for flamingoes. Among the other species which proliferate in the park, the most impressive are the buffalo, giraffe and water buck. There are also almost 500 species of birds including possibly the highest concentration of the beautiful long crested eagle anywhere.
You also get to visit Lake Bogoria National Reserve – a saline water shallow located at the northern region of the Kenyan Rift, 25 kilometers south of Lake Baringo. Lake Bogoria geysers and hot springs are the major attractions which are at the central basin of the lake.
Animal found in Lake Bogoria National Reserve include: Greater Kudu, Burchell’s Zebra warthogs, Forest hog Impala, Klipspringers, Cape buffalo, Patas Monkeys among others. Predators include genet, serval cat, cite and white tailed mongoose and cheetah. The Tugen traditional artifacts and resident traditional dancers’ provide a unique and thrilling experience for the tourists.

Journey
Day 1 : Nairobi – Drive To Lake Nakuru National Park
Our guide will pick you from your residence within Nairobi at about 0800 Hours. Your journey to Lake Nakuru will cut across the Great Rift Valley, with Mt Longonot in the background. You will also see the enchanting Lake Naivasha, the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes.
You will arrive in time for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar located inside Lake Nakuru National park. After lunch, we will set out for an afternoon game viewing drive. The park is renowned to be a bird watchers’ paradise due to the numerous populations of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a very beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore.
Apart from flamingos the lake is home to over 400 species of birds. Animals found in the park include: Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. We enjoy a late evening game drive then return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2 : Lake Nakuru – Drive To Lake Bogoria National Reserve
We have early breakfast at the Lodge and then set out for our second leg of the safari, which takes us to Lake Bogoria located inside Lake Bogoria National Reserve. We arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Bogoria Country Club or Similar.
In the afternoon, we explore Lake Bogoria National Reserve on a game drive and walk around this spectacular lake in the heart of an arid landscape. The soda lake attracts massive flocks of flamingos and is often carpeted in pink, due to the high concentrations of flamingoes.
The western shore has hot springs and spouting geysers, spurting steam and bubbling geothermal pools. Fresh water springs at the lake edge attract an abundance of birds and wildlife. We return to the Lake Bogoria Country Club or similar later in the evening for dinner and overnight

Day 3 : Lake Bogoria National Reserve – Drive To Nairobi
We have breakfast at the Lake Bogoria Country Club. Afterwards, we begin our journey back to Nairobi. We arrive early afternoon and drop you at the place of your choice within Nairobi. Lake Bogoria National Reserve is approximately 266 kilometers from Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city and 125 kilometers from Nakuru Town.
