3 Days Etosha National Park Safari

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Windhoek or the airport. After a short briefing from your guide, you depart northwards towards Etosha National Park. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, traditional villages, and open savannahs that showcase Namibia’s unique beauty.

Upon arrival at the park, you will enter through the gate and begin your first game viewing experience en route to your lodge or camp. Wildlife sightings are often immediate, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, and antelope species along the road.

In the afternoon, you embark on your first official game drive inside the park. The focus will be on visiting several waterholes where animals gather, especially during the dry season. This is an excellent opportunity for photography and close wildlife encounters.

In the evening, you return to your lodge for check-in. Dinner is served at the lodge, followed by relaxation under the African night sky.

After an early breakfast, you depart for a full-day game drive inside Etosha National Park. The early morning hours are ideal for spotting predators such as lions and leopards returning from nighttime hunting activities.

Your guide will take you through different regions of the park depending on wildlife movement and seasonal conditions. You will explore open plains, woodland areas, and key waterholes where large herds of elephants and buffalo often gather.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park at a designated rest area or picnic site. After lunch, the safari continues deeper into the park with more game viewing opportunities. The afternoon drive focuses on spotting wildlife at waterholes, which become increasingly active as temperatures cool down.

By late afternoon, you return to your lodge. Dinner is served, followed by an evening of relaxation or optional stargazing.

After returning to the lodge, you enjoy breakfast and check out. You then begin your journey back to Windhoek, passing through scenic landscapes and rural settlements along the way. Your guide may make brief stops for photography or souvenir shopping depending on time and interest.

Arrival in Windhoek is expected in the afternoon, where you are dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
