6 Days Sossusvlei + Etosha Safari

Upon arrival in Windhoek, you will be met by your driver-guide for a safari briefing before departing towards the Namib Desert region. The journey takes you through scenic mountain passes, open plains, and rugged landscapes that define Namibia’s natural beauty.

You arrive at your lodge near the Sossusvlei area in the afternoon. The rest of the day is spent at leisure, allowing you to relax after the journey or enjoy the surrounding desert views.

An early morning departure takes you into the Namib-Naukluft National Park to explore Sossusvlei, one of the most photographed desert regions in Africa.

You will visit the iconic Dune 45 and Big Daddy dune, where adventurous travelers can climb for panoramic views over the endless sand sea. The tour continues to Deadvlei, a striking white clay pan surrounded by ancient dead trees, creating a surreal landscape.

You also visit Sesriem Canyon, a narrow gorge carved by water over millions of years.

Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation.

After breakfast, you depart the desert region and travel back to Windhoek. The journey offers scenic views of Namibia’s central highlands and rural landscapes.

Upon arrival in Windhoek, you check in at your hotel or lodge. The evening is free for rest or optional city exploration.

After an early breakfast, you begin your journey north towards Etosha National Park. The drive takes you through traditional villages and savannah landscapes.

You enter the park in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive en route to your lodge. Wildlife sightings often begin immediately upon entry, including elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.

The day begins with an early morning game drive when predators are most active. You explore different sections of Etosha National Park, including waterholes where large herds of elephants, zebras, and rhinos gather.

A picnic lunch is served inside the park at designated rest areas. In the afternoon, the safari continues with more wildlife viewing, focusing on lions, giraffes, and diverse birdlife.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a final optional morning game drive depending on time and wildlife activity. Later, you begin your return journey to Windhoek.

Scenic stops are made along the way for photography and stretching. Arrival in Windhoek is in the afternoon, where you are dropped off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your safari.
