Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Kasane / Chobe National Park Introduction
Arrival at Kasane Airport or border entry point. You will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge near Chobe National Park.
After check-in and relaxation, enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the Chobe River. This is one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife experiences, offering close encounters with elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and rich birdlife along the riverbanks.
Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chobe National Park – Full Day Safari
Early morning game drive inside Chobe National Park. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds and high predator activity, especially lions and hyenas.
Explore varied landscapes including floodplains, riverfront, and woodland habitats. Midday return to lodge for rest and lunch.
In the afternoon, continue with a second game drive or optional sunset cruise depending on lodge schedule. Wildlife viewing is excellent throughout the day due to high animal concentration along the Chobe River system.

Day 3: Morning Safari – Transfer to Moremi Game Reserve
Start the day with an early morning game drive for final Chobe wildlife sightings. After breakfast, transfer to Kasane airstrip for a light aircraft flight into the Okavango ecosystem and onward connection to Moremi Game Reserve.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your camp located in a prime wildlife area. Afternoon game drive introduces you to the Moremi environment, known for its predator activity and diverse ecosystems.
Dinner and overnight in Moremi.
Day 4: Moremi Game Reserve – Full Day Safari
Full day game drive in Moremi Game Reserve. This region is considered one of the most beautiful and wildlife-rich reserves in Africa.
Expect sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, wild dogs, giraffes, zebras, and large antelope herds. The combination of woodland, floodplains, and lagoons supports high biodiversity.
A picnic lunch may be taken in the bush or returned to camp depending on routing.
Afternoon game drive continues until sunset before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Okavango Delta – Water Safari Begins
After breakfast, transfer deeper into the Okavango Delta by light aircraft or 4x4 depending on camp location.
Upon arrival, settle into your Delta camp surrounded by waterways and islands. In the afternoon, enjoy your first mokoro canoe excursion or boat safari through narrow channels lined with reeds and papyrus.
Wildlife includes elephants, hippos, crocodiles, lechwe antelope, and exceptional birdlife.

Day 6: Okavango Delta – Immersive Water & Walking Safari

Later, enjoy a guided walking safari on nearby islands where experienced trackers interpret animal signs, tracks, and ecosystem behavior.

Dinner and overnight at Delta camp.
Day 7: Morning Activity – Departure
Early breakfast followed by a final short mokoro ride or nature walk depending on time and lodge schedule.
Transfer to airstrip for flight back to Maun or Kasane for onward connections, marking the end of your Botswana safari circuit.
