Journey into Kenya’s Most Iconic Wildlife Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a short safari briefing, depart for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a photo stop overlooking the escarpment.

Continue through traditional Maasai countryside, arriving at your lodge or luxury tented camp in time for lunch. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the vast Mara plains. This reserve is home to the Big Five and boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Extensive Game Viewing & Wildlife Encounters

Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Spend the day exploring different regions of the reserve, including the Mara River, famous for crocodiles and hippos and the dramatic Great Migration river crossings (seasonal).

Your professional guide will track lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of plains game such as wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and gazelles. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy sightings of eagles, vultures, secretary birds, and ostriches.

Optionally, visit a traditional Maasai village in the afternoon to learn about local culture and traditions (extra cost).

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

From Open Savannahs to the Great Rift Valley

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving across the Great Rift Valley floor. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch at your lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around Lake Nakuru, renowned for its shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and other birdlife. The park is also a sanctuary for black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, leopards, and buffaloes.

Visit scenic viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff for panoramic views of the lake before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Relaxation, Birdlife & Walking Safari

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation and home to hippos and diverse bird species. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, offering close encounters with hippos and water birds such as fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. You also take a guided walking safari at Crescent Island, where you walk among giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest in a predator-free environment.

Journey to the Land of Giants

After breakfast, check out and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and rural Kenyan towns. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. The park also hosts lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and abundant birdlife, especially around the swamp areas.

Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Elephants, Swamps & Kilimanjaro Views

Start the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and visibility of Mount Kilimanjaro is at its best. Capture breathtaking photographs of elephants crossing the plains with the snow-capped mountain in the background.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure time. Later in the afternoon, enjoy another game drive, focusing on Amboseli’s lush swamps fed by underground water from Kilimanjaro, attracting elephants, hippos, and a variety of bird species.

End the day with dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Farewell to the Wild

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a short game drive en route as you exit Amboseli National Park. Begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
